I’ve seen this stitch being used quite a bit recently, and honestly I had no idea how to do it! So I figured we could learn this one together. It is a very easy stitch, and it turns out sooo pretty!
Grab your yarn and hook and let’s get started!
You’re going to start off by chaining 20. Skip the first 3 stitches, and then single crochet into the 4th stitch. Chain 1 and skip 1 stitch, then single crochet in the next stitch.
You’re going to continue across the row repeating the chain 1, skip 1, single crochet.

Chain 2, single crochet into the ch 1 spot from below. Continue across the row with chain 1, single crochet in the chain 1 space from below. You should end on a single crochet.
Continue that row until you have 16 rows and a nice little square! Isn’t it such a pretty stitch?? Make sure and save your square for the blanket we’re going to make at the end!
