This is another one that I haven’t used before, and I’m wondering if it would look better with other yarns. It’s always nice to add extra texture and dimension to your projects so they don’t end up being plain and boring.
Grab your hook and yarn and we’ll get started!
Start by chaining 21. Skip the first 3 stitches and then 2 single crochets in the next stitch.
You’re going to continue across the row by skipping a stitch, and then 2 single crochets in the next one. At the end of the row there should be 1 stitch left and you’ll just put 1 single crochet in that. Flip over your work and chain 1, and then single crochet into the first stitch. Skip 1 stitch and then work 2 single crochets in the next stitch.
Continue until you have 16 stitches and it looks like a square. Remember to save all your squares to make the blanket at the end!
